post Recapping Alex Rodriguez

October 23rd, 2008

Filed under: People — admin @ 10:13 am

Alex Rodriguez has become the center of some controversy and it has become sad. He is going to be on his own away from his wife and daughter. Their daughter will be the real loser in this situation. I do believe that personally you need both a Mom and a Dad for it to work but that is just my take. Without going into this, for the record Alex Rodriguez is known as a guy who can hit in the regular season but post-season time, he fails to show up (more…)

post Hats off to Harry

March 10th, 2008

Filed under: Uncategorized, People — admin @ 4:03 pm

Prince Harry has just returned from 10 weeks at the front line in Afghanistan, something he had expressed a personal wish to do. He served with his regiment the Blue’s and Royals, part of the Household Cavalry, more normally associated with ceremonial duties in London.

Following much debate as to whether he would be able to serve in Helmand Province common sense prevailed and he carried out his duties, along with the other members of his regiment in a way that would be expected of any serving officer. It’s sad that a leak by an American web site has broken the media blackout, forcing a premature end to his tour of duty.

Flying home to RAF Brize Norton along with two soldiers injured by an exploding mine. Prince Harry humbly belittled his own experiences having returned with no scars and referred to his two travelling companions as the real heroes. Although now separated from the troops he commands, I am sure that the experiences of combat that they have shared over the last 10 weeks will only strengthen the bond between them.

post Angelina Jolie uses business for pleasure

May 3rd, 2007

Filed under: Uncategorized, People — admin @ 9:45 am

After making her directorial debut at the Tribeca Film Festival last week, Angelina Jolie went to a party at the hotel Gansevoort where, after drinking some wine, she gave a lap dance to actor Olivier Martinez. It seems that Brad Pitt isn’t enough for her, now since he’s 100% hers. The only appeal he held to her vanished when he broke up with Jenifer Aniston!

“She turned to him on the banquette and was shaking it in front of him. She was giving him a lap dance,” another reveler tells Us. “She was looking over her shoulder, tossing a glance his way.” As another partygoer describes it, “It was very, very flirty.”

Brad better get his woman under control! She is publicly making a fool of him, and his manhood, stating through her actions that he is unable to satisfy her!

Ps - I promised to put a shout out to Mark at his new job doing pet insurance so here it comes… good luck Mark!

post Jessica Alba, the sexiest woman in the world

April 29th, 2007

Filed under: Uncategorized, People — admin @ 11:54 am

Jessica Alba, 25, was crowned the world's sexiest woman by readers of the FHM magazine in the UK. FHM editor, Chris Bell, said: "She's a talented, successful and beautiful actress who clearly has sex appeal that translates worldwide. Jessica will be celebrating her 26th birthday this week as the sexiest woman in the world."

Alba, the 'Sin City' star could beat the British glamour model Keeley Hazell and 'Desperate Housewives' star Eva Longoria, who were chosen for second and third place respectively. Brazilian supermodel Adriana Lima came fourth, Scarlett Johansson fifth, while Angelina Jolie finished in eighth position. Last year's winner 'Pirates of the Caribbean' star Keira Knightley surprisingly dropped to 12th. Another big surprise was that Britain's Prince William's ex-girlfriend 25-year-old brunette Kate Middleton has jumped from 94th place to 25th. But actress Sienna Miller, 25, had the biggest fall as she has dropped down from 12th place to 45th. Britney Spears, 25, is back in at 54, after falling out of the list last year.

Congratulations, Jessica and Happy Birthday!

post Call for Tougher Gun Crime Laws–A Proper initiative!!

April 23rd, 2007

Filed under: Uncategorized, People — admin @ 1:41 pm
One of the UK's most senior police officers has called for new laws that would compel the public to give information to the police about gun crime - whether they want to or not. Bernard Hogan-Howe, the chief constable of Merseyside police and a contender to be next commissioner of the Met, said it was clear that more and more young people were getting involved in gun crime and that they were being protected by a wall of silence. He said the only way to address this was to adopt laws similar to those in Australia "where people have a duty to report information about gun crime to the police". He also believes the laws should extend to victims of gun crime who survive being shot but refuse to make a complaint because of fears of reprisals. "The challenge is: people who survive do not want to complain and the best witness is quite often the victim who can help provide a description and motive. By refusing to help it can put the investigation on to the back foot", he added. A fortnight ago Scotland Yard launched the hard-hitting "blood on your hands" campaign, aimed at turning children away from gun crime and encouraging them to speak to the police. It was unveiled on the day of the funeral of 15-year-old murder victim Billy Cox who was gunned down in south London, one of a number of shootings involving teenagers in recent weeks.
So what i feel is we should completely cooperate with the police on these things as it is for our benefit. We should report every other crime related to this. Remaining silent is the worst things that happens. This way both the criminal and we ourseleves are responsible for the crime. We should never keep quiet on such things. Stricter laws can be implemented and the gun crime rate can be extensively brought down. Recent bloodbaths through Gun has brought the danger which lurks around. Many times these things are result of discrimination which should be totally stopped as we are a developed nation and these things dont suit us at all. The gang concept has to be completely brought down as they are the ones which are source of such crimes mostly. Even mental illness of people sometimes result in such ghastly acts, so we should help government in imposing strict lawsfor Gun Crimes so as  for safeguarding out interests.

post Rescue package for doctors leaked !!

April 23rd, 2007

Filed under: Uncategorized, People — admin @ 12:52 pm

A rescue plan for doctors unable to get a training post under a controversial new system has being drawn up by NHS managers. A leaked document reveals a number of ideas, including asking a charity if it could take doctors to work overseas. There has been intense criticism of the system, which is set to leave thousands of doctors without training posts. NHS bosses say there will be jobs - but doctors complain these posts will not involve any training. NHS Employers drew up the proposals after it was estimated there have been around 10,000 more applications than there are jobs for trainees. Between 500 and 1,300 of those doctors about to finish their foundation training, and will be the focus of the rescue scheme. The other applicants will be in the equivalent "old-fashioned" post of senior house officer or working in other roles in the NHS, perhaps as locum doctors or in long-term non-training posts. Some applicants will be working outside the NHS.
One thing i can never understand is the extremely ludicrous policies of the government even in critical cases like HealthCare etc. How can government be high handed in such type of cases?? We cannot gamble with policies involving doctors and the medical trainees as they are the ones who are on the path of being life saviours. We should provide ample opportunities for their growth and increase in number. One never knows when the time of crisis arrives. Most doctors are forced to take up training courses abroad due to ridiculous policies of the government. It should retain such talents and give them ample space here in our country itself. People getting trained outside have to face the wrath anytime from the government, even when they are on the correct side. This should not be the case.

post Sarah Harding Launches Ultimo’s Bikini Range

April 19th, 2007

Filed under: Uncategorized, People — admin @ 6:19 pm

The blonde star Sarah Harding (26), the English singer in the girl group Girls Aloud, was chosen by underwear brand Ultimo to launch its new swim-wear range and bridal lingerie.

The sexy Girls Aloud beauty looked stunning in the bikini as she posed on a £2.5 million yacht in Miami and she is the latest celebrity to pose for the lingerie label. Helena Christensen, Rachel Hunter, Penny Lancaster and Jade Jagger also modeled for the brand.

Harding said:" The Ultimo bikinis are amazing and what a cleavage you get wearing them! The swimwear is definately a must have!" "Girls, don't go on holiday without one! As for all the brides out there don't get married without Ultimo being your No.1 choice."

There are rumors about that the band will part ways later this year, the singer has expressed her desire to venture into acting, and has aspirations to be in a Bond movie. Of course, with an impressive bikini body like this, she's obviously Bond girl ready.

post The Magical World of Genetics–Much popular thing for family Tracing!!

April 17th, 2007

Filed under: Uncategorized, People — admin @ 10:03 am

Genetic genealogy is an attempt to bring hard science to ancestry research, by unravelling the historical information locked up inside the string of "letters" that make up our genetic code. As with any business, there are reputable companies and there are others. A guiding principle is that only in rare cases will genetic tests give you any certainty about your ancestral roots. If a company traces your origins to a village on an island off the coast of Africa, or says you hail from a pillaging Viking, take it with a pinch of salt.Chris Pomery, author of In the Genes, due to be published in May, says genetics has become the third major tool for family historians, after oral histories packaged in anecdotes handed down from older generations, and the familiar paper trail charting births, deaths and marriages. "In specific cases, genetics is a very useful tool, but it is not a panacea," he says. "We're not even close to the situation where, if you're starting to research your family history, you should begin with a DNA test. At £100 or so a throw it's a lot of money, and you can progress your research a long way first for free. "The entirety of the human genome is carried on 23 pairs of chromosomes and it is the smallest of these, the Y chromosome, that is most useful for genealogy. The Y chromosome is only found in males, and because it passes exclusively down the male line, it can be used to check whether someone with the same surname is, or was, a relative.

Nowadays the trend of family tracing is gaining popularity like anything. People are not worrying about the money they spend to gain information about their ancestral roots and genetic relatives. But there is a small issue out here. Many times the inforamtion as provided by the companies are not true to the maximum. There is widespread deviations from the real facts, still prople are queuing for these types of services. But there is a definite success in these services. Government and Police can use such services to track the untraceable criminals, many pending court cases like Rapes, murders etc can be solved in a very short span of time. These can be also used for study on ancient civilizations. There are numerous uses of this type of services.

post Paris Hilton got breast implants

March 28th, 2007

Filed under: Uncategorized, People — admin @ 3:08 pm

Ok, so, rich spoiled stick figure Paris Hilton now walks around exposing her chest which…. Oooops! It’s like three times bigger than it used to be. Before, her chest was perfectly flat, which can be easily seen as there are more than too many nude pictures of little miss Paris Available for anyone who owns a computer! My guess is implants, because no wonder bra can actually make a wonder (or in this case a couple of wonders) as big appear out of the blue! And I’m ok with the whole image change, she needed something to distract the public from her mindless behaviour, but I think she’ll need a much bigger set of implants to make her acts unnoticed!

post PUNK'S NOT DEAD!

February 25th, 2006

Filed under: Diary, Photos, Culture, People — admin @ 5:30 pm

PUNK Me and Lou got into Punk Karaoke last night at The Garage in Highbury , it was bloody fantastic! It’s a hard core punk gig but you get to put you name down for the songs you want to do. One of my greatest joy comes from singing supported by a real punk band. It is on fortnightly, however you need to get their on time or you haven’t got a hope in hell of singing.
they play a whole load of songs, including true punk hits and new school song given a punk egde. Don’t worry about forgetting the words, they even provide you with the lyrics. It’s the most hard core night out in old london town.
Their is one pisser though, the quality of the singing not like wimpy standard karaoke where you can just get up sing some ‘Hanson’ rubbish. Most the singers are incredible . The best parts were Ro doing ‘Town Called Malice’ and the Ted monster belting out ‘Blitzkrieg Bop’. Punk is NOT dead!

Now for some groovy stuff I found whilst surfing. Just a quick Ed who runs a seo company London and has given me some advice on website title tags and stuff. Every fancied getting some plastic surgery done? Check out these cosmetic surgery guys here.

Well I bored! Think I’ll go eat something.
